About the Guatemala Conservation Coast project

The Guatemalan Caribbean coastline is home to not only humans, but a remarkable variety of wildlife. Migratory birds rely on the forests as a stopover, while jaguars and manatees call these forests home.

WebFX’s contribution helps end deforestation on Guatemala’s northeastern Caribbean coast. Preserving this forest prevents additional CO₂ emissions and offsets the carbon created by WebFX’s operations by 120%.

Locally, the impact runs deeper than tree protection. Funds flow toward building tree-friendly economic engines, improved education, and additional mobile health clinics — creating healthcare access for around 1,000 people in this part of Guatemala.

The Guatemala Conservation Coast project is Verified Carbon Standard (VCS) and has achieved CCB Gold status.
